The cPanel BoxTrapper allows you to activate email verification for those people that are not on your white list. This means that any email address that is not placed on your white list will be sent an email requiring them to send back a verification email. This ensures that they are not a spammer.
This function can be quite useful in preventing automatic mailings that you do not wish to receive from reaching your inbox. Be careful though, as unless the original sender responds, or you log in and manually add their address to your white list, you will not receive any of their email - it will be assumed to be spam.
By default, the BoxTrapper is not activated, however your email control panel provides you with the functionality to activate and configure the BoxTrapper.
To access your email control panel, type in the address http://www.yourdomain.com/webmail and enter your username and password. Once logged in, select the 'BoxTrapper' option.
